These hermetically sealed paper in oil caps were found in unused 1960s Westrex (1960s ERPI, Hollywood sound on film, Stancil-Hoffman, Altec-Lansing consoles, Simplex and Motiograph & asst. power supplies -- to name a few) broadcast recording equipment. Bathtub oils as they were referred to -- represent the highest quality standard, used in all industrial and high end tube amps, preamps, recording equipment and crosssovers of the early days. They're RATED and were tested to handle a lofty 600V!! They're matched 2pcs, a PAIR dated 1964 ... nice early units ... genuine Aerovox, MADE IN USA. These NOS oil capacitors, (these days referred to PiO) have absolutely beautiful ENGRAVED letters on their shinny original TIN cases, and sealed LUG/TERMINALS --- so very old !  This is a matched & tested set.  Study exhibit (A) to see an actual units and under HV test (no leaks).

 These model P30M 2uf caps are ultra rugged and overbuilt, with the similar construction and size as 4uf caps. Great looking, BEAUTIFUL, 50s/60s industrial grade (see exhibit B,C,D,E).  The sound is amazing as you'd expect from quality USA built audio from the golden era -- these are going to rise in value, as they are a perfect low cost alternative to RARE Western Electric condensors.  Perfect for amplifiers, preamplifiers and crossovers.  They have tested at FULL operating 400 volts on Sencore tester. All (2pcs) WORKING great , thoroughly checked out and found to be PERFECT - no leaks, VERY low ESR, and  2uf capacity !
