A perrennial favorite of amongst xperienced audiophiles. Classic 1950/60's Telefunken smooth plates. This is an old selected set of MATCHED NOS tubes. It's a VINTAGE PAIR of diamond bottomed (in glass) factory 12AU7 / ECC82 tubes. These are the early originals hailing from the mid 50s to mid 1960's or so. They are truly beautiful & the real McCoy. Early 17mm tall SMOOTH plates. They were LAB SELECTED back in the 1960s for expensive equipment that never saw use. So, these are NOS. They bear the RED TIP marks, evidence they were balanced for GM & Plate Current. They're testing as NOS on our multiple calibrated testers. (Photo A is a simple Dynamic Emissions for easy reference -- these are STRONG tubes --- all sides are in upwards of 120% ). (Refer full test reports below).
On a calibrated on Digital Lab Tester here @ full 250V ... this pair tested strong, NOS and Quiet to ear - no microphonics! (when checked in circuit ) The letters on this pair are all completly readable, a couple of missing characters, that's all (see exhibits B,C,D) They almost perfect condition. Carefully stored many years in the included old brown boxes.

Old Tele's are always contendors amongst the best preamp tubes ever .. they have a solid place in the pantheon of long plate dual-triodes.
